Pet Insurance
Why Pet Insurance?
We are all guilty of overeating every once in a while. But when Bandit, a toy spaniel, devoured several chocolate turtles and chocolate covered almonds, it was more than his 8-pound body could handle. After blood work, fluid administration, medication and an overnight stay, Bandit's emergency vet bill totaled $1,088.25. Fortunately, Bandit's family had pet insurance offered by Kroger and was reimbursed $934.43.

How Pet Insurance Plans Work
With these Pet Insurance plans, you have the freedom to use any veterinarian nationwide — including emergency care clinics, specialists and holistic care providers.
Whenever your dog or cat needs to visit the veterinarian, simply take a claim form with you and pay your vet at checkout like normal. You'll then file the claim, and you'll be reimbursed for 90% or 100% of your expenses after a $50 per incident deductible.
